“The proposal made me feel like the luckiest girl in the world.  Amar had booked a boat ride on the Hudson River initially saying that it will be with another couple.  However the other couple conveniently was stuck in traffic (the captain was in on the surprise!).  As the sun was setting, we rode the boat to Statue Of Liberty and with my favorite song in the background, Amar bent down on one knee and asked me to marry him.  Of course I said Yes!  It was completely unexpected and a great example of how he continues to surprise me.”
